Online Pharmacy Tech Program Curriculum
FVI’s online pharmacy tech program in Florida prepares you to become a certified pharmacy technician in just 36 instructional weeks. You’ll learn drug classification, pharmacology, pharmacy law, compounding, inventory management, and insurance billing through both online and in-person instruction.
The program includes a supervised externship and CPR certification. Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to take both the PTCB CPhT and ExCPT exams, which are essential certifications for pharmacy techs in Florida.
Graduates earn a diploma and become eligible to apply for registration with the Florida Board of Pharmacy, which is required to work as a pharmacy technician in the state.
